Director of Strategic Partnerships

As the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, you will lead our partnership initiatives with key platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft, AWS, and HubSpot. You will develop and manage our ISV, Implementation, Reseller, and Consulting partnerships, explore opportunities for white-label solutions, and build a robust pipeline of strategic alliances. Collaborating closely with the Director of Product Management, you’ll identify new market opportunities, craft go-to-market strategies, and foster relationships that create value for our partners and clients. This is a commission-only position at this time, but we have a plan to convert it to a full-time salaried position with generous compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Management:
- Build, nurture, and expand partnerships with Salesforce, Microsoft, AWS, HubSpot, and other strategic platforms.
- Oversee ISV, Implementation, Reseller, and Consulting partnerships, ensuring alignment with company goals and revenue objectives.
- Establish strong communication channels with partners to address opportunities, challenges, and growth strategies.
Market and Business Development:
- Collaborate with the Director of Product Management to identify and evaluate new markets for product expansion.
- Drive the development of white-label solutions by identifying and negotiating with potential partner organizations.
- Develop a strategic lead pipeline by researching, prospecting, and initiating contact with target organizations.
Strategic Planning:
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and partner ecosystems to create actionable business development plans.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnerships and business development initiatives.
Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to execute partnership and business development strategies.
- Mentor and grow the partnerships team, instilling a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Proven track record of 8+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or a similar role in the software industry.
- Experience managing partnerships with major platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft, AWS, and HubSpot.
- Strong understanding of ISV, Reseller, and Consulting ecosystems.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with product, marketing, and sales teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business, technology, or related field.
- Prior experience in leading white-label solution initiatives or entering new markets.
- Strong network within the software and technology ecosystem.
